Seattle's wild card team the Mariners took on the Texas Rangers yesterday at Seattle's Safeco Field, but this time they had rock 'n' roll on their side (though they still lost). Three legendary rockers all showed up and took a picture together: Jack White, Eddie Vedder, and Paul Simon, Consequence of Sound reports.
White had just finished up a two-night residency at Seattle's Paramount Theatre and dedicated his performance of "Steady As She Goes" during his second night to Seattle local Vedder, who was in attendance.
In the photo, Vedder is sporting a jersey from White's hometown team the Detroit Tigers while White wore Vedder's hometown team's jersey. Simon was dressed in everyday attire with a white fedora, an orange t-shirt and a jean button-down. As Radio.com points out, Simon was likely there to root on the Mariners as well.
This isn't the first time Vedder and White have been pictured together at a baseball game this year. Last month, the two rockers both attended the Chicago Cubs vs. San Diego Padres game, where White was infamously photographed looking sad. White has visited several different baseball stadiums on his recent tour including Wrigley Field in Chicago, Comerica Park in Detroit, Coors Field in Denver, Busch Stadium in St. Louis, O.co Coliseum in Oakland, Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, and U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago,
