Orville Peck is postponing the remainder of his "Bronco" tour after kicking it off on Tuesday, Jun. 20, 2023, at The Theatre in Madison Square Garden. This came as quite a shock considering he just held his first show of the tour.

This meant that the 10 remaining Orville Peck concerts that were part of the "Bronco" tour were postponed indefinitely.

Completely "heartbroken" by the news that he is about to share, Orville Peck took to Instagram to explain the reason why he is postponing. According to him, it was "one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make."

"I've come to realize that my current mental and physical health won't allow me to bring you my best," he wrote.

He then thanked his fans who brought tickets to come to see him play, adding that he does not take them for granted.

"Being on stage is my favourite thing in the world. But I have to take this time to replenish my mind and body so that I can come back stronger and healthier than before, in order to do what I love for many years to come. I truly hope you can understand," he went on to explain.

In the comments section, fans of Peck showered him with affirmations and well-wishes.

"You were incredible last night at MSG and I support this choice 1,000,000%. Take care of u cutie," RuPaul Drag Queen Rose said in a comment.

"i love you beyond this world," singer Noah Cyrus said.

"I wish you happy healing and time for yourself. I've seen you three times - last night at MSG you were transcendent. We all stood in awe and with reverence as we all let it soak in," a fan shared.

"I'm bummed, but I would much rather you take care of yourself than perform. You have hardcore fans, and we'll all be here for you when you are ready for us," another commented.

"We will all be here when you return ready to yeehaw harder than ever," someone wrote.

As of this writing, Peck's team has declined to comment to Variety on what prompted the postponement and any additional information about the refunds and rescheduled dates.

Supposedly, Orville Peck is set to return on Jul. 25, 2023, in Colombus, before going to Cleveland, Harrisburg, Asbury, Lewiston, Indianapolis, Omaha, Kansas, Oklahoma City, and finally Santa Fe.

However, because of the postponement, the dates will be rescheduled possibly at the last quarter of the year or in 2024.
