Fans of Rod Stewart were enraged after the singer allegedly sstormed off the stage during a performance in Plymouth.
The legendary musician performed at Home Park stadium on Saturday night to launch his summer tour in the United Kingdom.
The 78-year-old rocker's performance, however, appeared to be cut short when the stage went silent at 10.30 p.m.
It was apparently due to a strict venue curfew, but stunned fans were quick to complain.
One fan recounted how after attending Rod Stewart's concert last night, he finished his second-to-last song, "We Are Sailing," only to be told it was 10.30 p.m. and he couldn't continue. With that, Rod stormed off the stage, leaving the concert in darkness, only to be informed that the Lord Mayor had put a halt to it. Fans were naturally stunned and disappointed at the same time.
A man clad in black entered the stage and instructed Rod to leave due to the curfew. Of course, Rod left promptly, and the lights came on. No farewell to supporters, and no encore. Everyone was flabbergasted by the abrupt and rude conclusion to an incredible concert.
Fans wonder who was the black-clad individual who requested Rod to exit the stage and why even if he was asked to end the concert, can't Stewart say goodbye first?
Fans sympathize with what Stewart experienced but then they could not understand how he could personally be rude as well. His team as well.

A few more minutes to conclude and say goodbye would have sufficed. Before he had even completed the song, he was asked to vacate the stage. If their policy was so stringent, they should have begun sooner.
Some said they would never attend another concert at Home Park due to the curfew that forces performers off stage.
Others vented their fury on social media and demanded that the Lord Mayor be held accountable, as some reportedly held him responsible for the abrupt end of the concert.
Fan writes on Facebook: "At 10:29 p.m., Rod is summoned to the side of the stage and informed, 'The mayor says you have exceeded your curfew.' In response, Rod yells, 'Tell the mayor to f*** off!' and the stage goes dark. "Everyone was anticipating an encore, but the house lights came on and the cleaners began to move in. Therefore, "We Are Sailing," which would have been the encore, was not performed.
That was a must for Plymouth, a naval community that was home to The Ark Royal, which is so meaningful to anyone with ties to the city. On Twitter, Rod fans were equally outraged and lambasted the singer's "totally rude and disrespectful" treatment.
Some said they sincerely hope Sir Rod pursues this and those responsible are dealt with accordingly. More so when the singer has fought cancer battles and had bravely said none of these would not halt his singing career.
