The delay of Lana Del Rey caused widespread dismay among concert-goers at Glastonbury Festival when organizers pulled the plug on her performance before she had even begun.

Initially, it was planned that 38-year-old "Brooklyn Baby" singer would take to stage at 10:30 PM on June 25 and perform until 11:45 PM.

However, when she eventually arrived at 11 PM, she explained her delay was due to taking longer than expected to style her hair.

Finally, when the clock struck 11 PM, Lana was ready to take on the Other Stage.

Informing her fans of her tardiness, she also ensured them that her set would not be cut short as long as there was a power supply.

As Lana began her set at Glastonbury, she was unaware of the venue's strict policy prohibiting music after midnight.

Sadly, when the clock struck twelve, the "West Coast" singer was not allowed to finish and had to stop in the middle of her performance. Lana Del Rey was interrupted mid-performance, yet her fans didn't miss a beat.

They joined in to sing her signature song, "Video Games." With no microphone available, she left the stage and performed an impromptu sing-along with her fans.

Despite the commotion she had caused by arriving late, Lana addressed the enthusiastic audience and promised to perform even without the assistance of her microphone.

So, it was no surprise when "Summertime Sadness" began playing, and she signed autographs - before being eventually taken away by security guards.

Taking center stage, Lana boldly announced to her cheering fans, "I was so f-----g late that I am about to rush this set today, if they cut power, they cut power."

She explained why she had been delayed and shared more with them.

"I'm super f-----g sorry, my hair takes so long to do. I love you to death. Let's keep on running this set as it's supposed to go, let's do it!"

However, the other stage, the Pyramid Stage was filled with intense energy as Guns N' Roses kept playing despite the power supply to lead singer Axl Rose's microphone being shut down.

Nevertheless, the band continued their performance without interruption due to an alternative power source.

Fans Angry At Lana Del Rey

Recent reports of Lana Del Rey's set being prematurely endedsparked discourse all over the web.

One individual labeled her "Lazy del rey. She was late" as a tongue-in-cheek reference to the matter, while another blamed her for depriving fans of an unforgettable moment, remarking sarcastically: "So the fans miss out on her best fan because she's a slob. Cool."

A different person spoke up, saying, "We are on fan time here, not your own schedule. You need to stop showing up late."

This comment was met with another one which asserted, "Being late is very discourteous and inappropriate, regardless of what other people may believe."

"Schedules are created for events like this for a reason - so that all performers can take part in their allotted set times."
