Lee Ann Womack and John Legend will be the latest to appear on an episode of CMT Crossroads. According to the network's site, the pair of Grammy-winning musicians will tape the episode in Franklin, Tennessee.
"Having John and Lee Ann join us on CMT Crossroads is going to be an incredible pairing — they are both among the most respected singers in their genres," says John Hamlin, CMT's senior vice president of Music, Events and Talent. "This has all the makings of another classic Crossroads collaboration."
In 2005, Legend took home three Grammys including best new artist, best R&B album for Get Lifted and best male vocal R&B performance for "Ordinary People."
Legend performed his smash "All of Me" with Jennifer Nettles and Hunter Hayes during the 2014 CMT Music Awards in Nashville.
Womack snagged a Grammy back in 2002 for "Mendocino County Line," a duet with country legend Willie Nelson. Womack's other hits include "The Fool," "A Little Past Little Rock" and "I May Hate Myself in the Morning."
She is preparing to release a new album titled The Way I'm Livin' on Sept. 23.
CMT Crossroads: John Legend and Lee Ann Womack will premiere just a few days later on Sept. 26 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on CMT.
The network is giving a lucky fan and a guest a chance to attend the taping of the episode. A lucky winner will receive roundtrip airfare for two, a $500 gift card and two nights of hotel accommodations in Nashville, plus two passes to attend the CMT Crossroads taping.
The sweepstakes ends Sept. 10.
