Porscha Coleman, who co-starred with Jamie Foxx, provided an update on his health two months after his medical emergency and two weeks after John Boyega said that "no one has heard from" him.
The 37-year-old actress gave an update on the 55-year-old A-lister's health while speaking with Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet at the BET Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday.
She also acknowledged that he has always been a quiet person.
However, she has successfully spoken to people who are very close to Foxx, and found out that he is doing great.
She added how detested she is when the media outlets continued to report on events without having all the necessary facts.
She and Foxx had worked on the the Netflix comedy Dad Stop Embarrassing Me!, which premiered in 2021. The actress revealed that Foxx is actually resting and healing. Fans really need to have faith that he'll be back soon, she added.

Foxx was admitted to the hospital with an unidentified medical issue, which his family initially revealed on April 12. Since then, there haven't been many details, even for friends and other cast members, as Coleman claimed the actor "always valued his privacy."
She added that as everyone could have observed in the past, Foxx is not the one to hog the limelight. He has always been on the low, so the fact that he's all silent while mending should not cause panic. "Foxx is doing it exactly the way Foxx ought to be," she said.
This comes only a few weeks after Jamie's other co-star John Boyega said that the actor had not been heard from since being admitted to the hospital for an unidentified medical problem in early April of this year. Boyega, 31, and Foxx, both actors, co-star in the new Netflix comedy "They Cloned Tyrone," but at the film's premiere this week, the Star Wars actor expressed his concern for Foxx. This is because the singer actor is determined to ignore all the calls made by his friends, it seems.
At the Wednesday premiere in Florida, Boyega said to Entertainment Tonight, "No one has heard from Jamie." I wanted him to come, but I understand that he has personal issues to deal with. I just want to wish him the best. Boyega claimed that Foxx had received several "missed calls," and he continued, "I've been calling, and I'm just going to keep on calling."
