Numerous promoters are vying for Elton John's attention with lucrative deals so he would be interested in doing a multi-night residency.

These offers are expected to reach multi-million-dollar amounts to secure the intimate performance series in the UK, according to The Mirror.

Though he has long retired from touring, there is a potential for the "Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word" singer to perform a limited-run series of concerts in one city in the UK.

According to an insider at one entertainment promoter, the shows would not be formidably ostentatious events but instead expected to be small and personal experiences over an extended period.

They went on to say that large-scale shows filled with immense production values are separate from Elton's plan.

However, this only sometimes takes away from smaller venues that can accommodate a few thousand people instead of those larger Arenas or Stadiums.

It's a given that Elton John would be welcomed to any stage; many other venues are likely to offer him generous sums for his performance.

If this happens, the insider added that tickets tickets for such an event would sell out quickly.

Recently, Elton John has implied that a residency is in the cards for the long run.

His "Farewell Yellow Brick Road" tour came to a close in the UK and deemed Glastonbury the perfect way to say goodbye to his British fans.

His partner David Furnish will not be stopping at music either - once the tour is over, he reportedly plans to start work on a new studio album come autumn.

As well as appearing in a forthcoming TV documentary, Elton is reportedly set on producing an American musical version of "Devil Wears Prada" for which he planned to open a production in London's West End in 2022.

Fanfare and anticipation had been building around Elton John's headline show after it was suggested that four people would be singing with him.

So when the night came, many people were dismayed that not one of the A-list stars, such as Harry Styles or Britney Spears, had joined him on stage.

Unfortunately, many fans were disappointed when they couldn't recognize any performers appearing alongside Elton John.

These included Jacob Lusk, a star from Gabriels; Stephen Sanchez, an American singer; The Killers' Brandon Flowers; and Rina Sawayama, another vocalist.

In a surprise move, Rina stepped into the shoes of Kiki Dee to perform Elton's well-known song "Don't Go Breaking My Heart."

While her rendition was impressive, fans were still eager for the original singer to make an entrance.

Bustling frontman Jacob was brimming with life and enthusiasm, wearing a striking pink suit for "Are You Ready For Love."

Meanwhile, Stephen carried out the immensely popular TikTok hit "Until I Found You."

The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly Killers frontman Brandon, who delivered an enthralling rendition of "Tiny Dancer."
