Kid Shot Mom's Attacker
In Chicago, a 14-year-old kid fired a gun on a man who brutally punched her mother in the face senselessly. The incident happened in Chicago.
Apparently, Carlisha Hood, the mother, was at Maxwell Street Express to get food for her and her son who was in the car. Per court documents as quoted by WGNTV, an argument ensued between Hood and a man who just entered the store. While the altercation brewed, Hood was already texting her son to come inside.
As the son entered, he witnessed her mother getting beaten to a pulp by a man who was also brutally punching Hood in the face. Shortly after, the kid fired shots landing one in the back.
As the man left the store dripping with blood, the kid went on to fire more, landing a second one which instantaneously killed the man.
The week after the two were arrested for murder. However, due to public uproar and outrage the police dropped the charges noting that "based upon the facts, evidence and the law, we were unable to meet our burden."
Meanwhile, Hood and her son will be suing the police for emotional distress while being falsely arrested and maliciously prosecuted. (via Complex)
