Concerned that Madonna would not recover from the bacterial infection that landed her in intensive care, her management team held a crisis conference on Zoom last Sunday and decided to postpone her concerts till further notice. They feared the worst, which made Madonna's children rushed to be by her bedside as well.

Many of the people who had worked with Madonna for decades were shocked to find that she had been found unconscious in New York on Saturday and had been intubated for the previous night, as reported by MailOnline.

They then made the tough choice to delay her highly anticipated 40th anniversary tour and set things in motion.

They were worried that with the first night of the Vancouver music festival starting on July 15, only three weeks remained to prepare and given the current situation, that's not going to be possible.

The news of her serious bacterial infection and subsequent recovery time was shared by her manager Guy Oseary on Wednesday. According to one reliable source that the fact is, at this point, nobody knew how it was all going to end.

There were grave concerns about Madonna's health because of her severe illness. These were her closest friends, and it was terrifying for all of them to learn that she was in intensive care. However, they felt obligated to be fair to their fans, so they postponed the tour almost soon after making the choice. Nobody wanted to put pressure on her since even if she were to recover quickly, she would be very behind in her rehearsing schedule.

Lourdes Leon, Madonna's daughter, was recently spotted in Paris, where she reportedly attended a gala honoring the launch of a new line of Vans trainers. On Thursday night, there was a party in a skate park near the Seine River.

She reportedly rushed to her mother's side after hearing the news about her illness. The 26-year-old uploaded a photo of herself wearing a provocative corset and low-rise pants to Instagram overnight in which she promoted the trainer business.

Although the photo's exact timing is unknown, it has been widely interpreted by fans as evidence that the iconic performer is on the road to recovery. In the meantime, Rocco, Madonna's eldest son, had just returned from a week-long motorcycle ride through Transylvania, Romania, with two pals.

One of Madonna's relatives has remarked that the star's 'invincible' attitude and the fact that she has been working herself to the bone in preparation for the tour serve as a wake-up call for the sudden fall in her health.

Ever since the news broke out, fans have been non-stop sending in their prayers and rocking up social media finding out the star's present status.
