Justin Timberlake, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis Lead Sales in 2013, Bruno Mars, Mumford & Sons Close Behind

Justin Timberlake's first album in seven years led sales in the first half of 2013, according to data from Nielsen SoundScan.

Timberlake's The 20/20 Experience is the only album as of June 30 to sell more than two million copies. Bruno Mars' Unorthodox Jukebox has sold 985,000 copies to put it in second place.

Mumford & Sons' Babel, which won Album of the Year at the 55th Grammy Awards, has sold 884,000 copies in 2013. Blake Shelton's Based on a True Storycame in fourth at 703,000 and Imagine Dragons' Night Visions rounded out the top five with 692,000 copies sold.

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis led the digital department as they broke the record for most digital downloads of a song in the first six months of a calendar year, according to Billboard. "Thrift Shop" amassed 5.6 million downloads to break the record set by Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know" at 5.5 million.

Pink's "Just Give Me A Reason" was second at 3.5 million, followed by Bruno Mars' "When I Was Your Man" at 3.4 million. Rihanna's "Stay" placed fourth at 3.3 million and Imagine Dragons' "Radioactive" rounded out the top five at 3.2 million.

Album sales dropped six percent to 142 million in 2013, while digital sales decreased by two percent to 682 million.
