Aside from going crazy while singing the bridge of "Cruel Summer" and exchanging friendship bracelets with other Swifties at the concert, one of the Swifties' biggest "The Eras" concert culture that came to light, thanks to TikTok, was guessing what the surprise song was!
Unlike her previous concerts, Swift usually sticks to her premeditated and rehearsed setlist for the whole concert. However, for "The Eras" Tour, it's much more different! As she performs a 3-hour show with 44 songs, she proceeds to surprise her loyal fans with 2 more surprise songs from her discography that are not included on the setlist.
For so long, it has been 2 per night, but for Cincinnati Day 2 of "The Eras" Tour, it was actually 3!
Taylor Swift Cincinnati Concert Surprise Songs
Notably, Cincinnati's "The Eras" Tour Day 2 show was bumped earlier than anticipated, Taylor Swift revealed in a tweet what caused why:
"Hey Cincinnati - Alas we've got another weather situation but this just means I get to see you sooner! I'll be going on an hour early at 7pm - we'll open doors at 4:30 See you then!"
While MUNA got the chance to perform her set, Gracie Abrams was pushed out of the schedule. She made up for it at the surprise song segment as she pulled out Abrams for a surprise duet in front of a packed Paycor Stadium.
They performed "I Miss You, I'm Sorry" from her "Minor" album, giving fans a well-deserved treat from Gracie and Taylor. This was actually the "second" surprise song of the night.
The first one was "Ivy" from "Evermore." Swift even pulled out The National's Aaron Dessner, a Cincinnati native, to play the guitars for her on the set.
Lastly, Swift sang a piano version of "Call It What You Want" from the album, "Reputation."
