Shania Twain handled her concert mishap like a pro...well, she is is a pro! Naturally, given how quick the crisis was averted, fans did not even batted an eyelash or raised some eyebrows.

The five-time Grammy winner suffered what no other singer would like to experience in the middle of a concert - slipping and falling, in a fully sold-out concert no less.

But she was a professional all throughout.

While performing on her sold-out concert at Credit Union 1 Amphitheater in Tinley Park, IL on Saturday, the singer slipped and fell. It is not clear what caused it - whether it was her shoes, or the floor, or something else.

One should note that the 57-year-old Canadian crooner was rocking a sparkly silver pair of thigh-high boots while performing her 1997 song "Don't Be Stupid (You Know I Love You)" when it happened so it can be definitely the shoes.

The singer was just strutting across the stage during her third song in the setlist, unaware of the impending accident. However, her right foot suddenly skid and she wound up on her rear end. An ordinary person would have up and run, immediately, but naturally, the singer did not do that. In fact, Twain didn't even miss a lyric and kept singing the song. She was also relatively quick to got back up and tested the friction of the slippery spot where she fell, just to make sure. Fans naturally were understanding.

Eyewitnesses told TMZ on Sunday that "the packed crowd did not react when Shania took her spill' because she continued on with the show without battling an eyelash.

If it is really the shoes that has caused her to fall, it's highly unlikely that she would stop wearing booties.

According to Daily Mail UK, the perfomer never rocked thigh-high boot she didn't love, and even purchased a 7.5 size pair of boots just because she just loves them so much.

"I saw the boot, and I'm like "Oh, these are going to be, like, over-the-top expensive." But they were on sale. So I say to the clerk, "Do you have a 6.5?" She goes, "No, this is the last pair,"' Shania confessed in a June 17 TikTok.

"I said, "Well, I'll try them on anyway."

She then also revealed that the boots were not even her size. On hindsight, this can definitely show that wearing those boots were ill-fated.

"You know that kind of thing where you love something so much so you want them to fit even if you know they don't? They are a size too big for me, but I just wear socks in them and it works," she said.

Twain is next scheduled to bring her 76-date Queen Of Me Tour" to the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel, NY this Monday."

Shania will also appear alongside six other music superstars in Jack Martin's musical spectacle disguised as a game show called "Superfan."

Airing of the show starts on August 9, but fans can only start seeing the singer from the August 16's episode.
