It's unclear what they are recording though, whether it's new music or what not for a whole different project. It's also unclear why amid all these circumstances, Katy Perry has remained mum.

Are they working on a big secret album that Perry cannot even talk about it or comment about Madonna's condition?

According to the Sun, the Queen of Pop was busy recording music with fellow chart-topper Katy Perry hours before her shocking collapse last weekend. The star, 64 was found unresponsive in her NYC home Saturday and admitted to the intensive care unit. Her PR team and her family got so worried that they reportedly fearing the worst, believing there's a high chance that she's not going to make it.

Now that she is finally released from the hospital and said to be recuperating, her tours and concerts are cancelled until further notice to ensure the star's health would not be compromised. She reportedly had a severe bacterial infection, but apart from this diagnonis, the public is none the wiser why Madonna suffered what she did.

"Madonna has long admired Katy, and they have worked together before, but never managed to actually put anything out," the unidentified insider told The Sun of Perry, 38. The source then said that working with Katy Perry while preparing for her tour meant the "Material Girl" singer was "working around the clock."

It's clear that she collapsed because her body cannot take it anymore but the official diagnosis is merely a bacterial infection.

"Obviously everything has been put on hold now, but the fact she was in the studio with Katy just hours before being rushed to the ICU shows how determined she was to push ahead despite feeling unwell," the source even said.

While news outlets have reached out to reps for Perry and Madonna for comment, none of the two said anything about this.

Katy Perry's social media accounts are full of promotional materials unrelated to Madonna's condition or to their supposed secret collab.
