Last week, news of Madonna being hospitalized caused an uproar across her fanbase and the entire world.
Prayers were abounding around the world for a safe return to good health.
Reports that even after leaving intensive care, the legendary singer-songwriter and pop icon, had to receive home nursing showed that her condition was still severe with uncontrollable vomiting continuing.
Kerry Katona, a former Atomic Kitten singer, has expressed her sorrow at hearing news of Madonna's hospitalization.
It was revealed that the songstress had been discovered unconscious in her home and was suffering from a life-threatening bacterial infection.
The scare has led to the postponement of her upcoming world tour, and Kerry hopes the 64-year-old singer-dancer will take heed and slow down.
In an interview with New Magazine (via Mirror), Kerry highlighted the "Vogue" hitmaker's commitment to physical fitness and well-being.
"She's a real go-getter," Kerry noted. "Perhaps this break from the daily grind will provide her with the opportunity to take it easy for once."
Kerry made it clear that the landscape of the world has gone through a significant transformation in recent years, and she believes her idol must find a novel approach to navigate this new environment so they may continue to remain relevant for generations to come.
In response to news that Madonna will need to "cut back" on her strenuous tour after a scare with her health, input from Kerry.
Madonna's slate of dates was slated to start in Canada later this month and take her through 45 cities.
It has recently been suggested that the number of shows the "Material Girl" had planned for her tour could be significantly reduced, or none at all.
A source speaking to the Daily Mail stated: "Given Madge's recent experience and taking into account her age, was it really wise to book so many concerts initially?"
They further commented, "This intense itinerary would overwhelm even the most capable performer. Seventy concerts spread across the globe is a mammoth task, and Madonna's staff may need to re-examine the tour plan."
In response to Madonna's hospitalization, her manager publicly announced that she was canceling all upcoming engagements to focus on regaining her health.
According to Guy Oseary in his statement: "We will share more details with you soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and for rescheduled shows."
