Taylor Swift cannot do wrong in the eyes of the Swifties. Despite evidence such as neighbor complaints and thousands in fines, her fans quickly come into her aid about allegations that she's being "disgusting" in her own backyard.

Swifties Defend Taylor Swift

According to the sanitation department of New York City, Taylor Swift is "All Too Well" recognised.

Per the New York Post, the 33-year-old singer is reportedly facing over $3K in fines and has received an incredible 32 tickets for violations involving rubbish outside her home.

The residence in question is her townhouse on Franklin Street in Manhattan's affluent Tribeca neighbourhood, which she bought in 2017 for $18 million.

Swift has received a citation for "failing to clean the area in front of her building, having a dirty sidewalk, and improperly disposing of garbage" even though she is responsible for maintaining the sidewalk in front of her property.

The summonses state that there are "piles of newspapers, bottles, and cardboard; napkins and wrappers; as well as "scattered ashtray contents" and a cigarette carton" in the waste.

She doesn't care about putting trash out, a local dog walker told the newspaper, adding that Swift appeared to be more focused "on her multi-million dollar tour." These are just some of the complaints of her neigbors

Swift bought the townhouse and converted it into a private entrance for her three-unit penthouse next door.

Some supporters quickly defended the Grammy winner and ascribed the slander to other fans and the media.

Christine O'Connor told The Post that this might be a big misunderstanding as the star doesn't even smoke, so it's probably the fans waiting for her and smoking while they're bored.

David Aldea, the star's former Cornelia Street landlord, lauded the actress for being a "perfect tenant" and had nothing but good things to say about the actress.

Swift's Lawyers Were Able to Do THIS

According to reports, Swift's attorneys contested some of the fines and won an appeal to get $200 vacated. Taylor allegedly received the fines between January 2018 and January 2023. According to reports, the amount of sanitation citations issued to buildings on the block is the greatest, leading some followers to theorise that their star is being unfairly "targeted.".

Swift's Eras world tour is expected to generate more than $1 billion in revenue, so even if she faces thousands in fines, she probably won't have any trouble paying the Sanitation Department. According to Fortune, "no artist has ever hit" this feat.

According to reports, the singer of the smash song "Blank Space" sells more than $13 million worth of tickets per night, making her "the top-grossing artist in the world."
