Over the weekend, fans who were excited to see Noel Gallagher at one of his concerts in the United States were shocked after the scheduled performance was hit with a bomb threat. Today, the musician is finally addressing the issue on social media.

Taking to his official Twitter account, the former Oasis member released an official statement regarding the shocking incident which led to the cancelation of his show at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center on Saturday.

"Unfortunately, on the advice of local authorities Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds performance at Saratoga Performing Arts Centre did not go ahead on Saturday evening," he wrote.

The "Wonderwall" hitmaker explained that the decision was "taken out of an abundance of caution" in order to prioritize the safety of concertgoers and his staff.

Although last Saturday's show was canceled, Gallagher was thrilled to announce that his show at the Summer Stage in New York City's Central Park tonight will push through.

"We look forward to seeing fans there," he wrote.

Noel Gallagher Fans Call for Refunds After Saratoga Spring Show's Cancellation

After sharing an update, fans immediately bombarded the reply section and there were some users who claimed to have not been refunded after the Saturday show.

"Why aren't we being refunded? Or offer replacements to see tonight's show in NYC, same promoter, plenty of empty seats, no excuses. It costs you nothing," one wrote.

"So NO REFUND for all of us that where there or even better why don't you reschedule as we don't want the refund TBH!!" another one wrote, adding that there are still no updates regarding a refund since Saturday.

One user also called out Live Nation, the event's producer, for them to speak out and share details regarding refunds to fans who "waited for hours and paid money only to be turned away."

Noel Gallagher Concert Canceled Over Bomb Threat

In early reports, Noel Gallagher and his band, the High Flying Birds, were scheduled to perform at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center on Saturday along with other supporting acts like Garbage and Metric.

Although the show already started, the concert was shortly cut off after a reported bomb threat which led to authorities evacuating concertgoers.

Fans were confused as a text appeared on the screen asking attendees to go to the nearest exit.
