Ozzy Osbourne sparked concerns after he was seen looking frail during his recent outing.
The Black Sabbath rocker decided not to pursue his supposed appearance at the Power Trip Festival where he was tapped to become one of the headliners alongside Metallica, Tool, Iron Maiden, Guns N' Roses, and AC/DC. Judas Priest took his place instead as he revealed that his body is not yet ready to be on stage again.
Days after his announcement, new photos of him looking frail emerged online.
Ozzy Osbourne's Health Deteriorating Again?
For the first time since bowing out of the Power Trip Festival, Osbourne was spotted leaving a hospital in a wheelchair after previously going through several health issues.
The Prince of Darkness was wearing an all-black outfit complemented by a pair of trainers when he was snapped going out of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, according to the photos shared by Express UK and The Mirror. He was also wearing a face mask and hospital bracelet on his wrist, indicating that he visited the medical facility for a consultation.
A female companion helped him to get into the backseat of the vehicle while one of his associates also grabbed his arm to assist him.
Osbourne's hospital visit came after he released an official statement on his Facebook page saying that he was supposed to mark his return to the stage in 2024 but decided to accept Power Trip Festival's offer.
"Unfortunately, my body is telling me that I'm just not ready yet, and I am much too proud to have the first show that I do in nearly five years be half-assed," he said.
Ozzy Osbourne Dismisses Rumors About Health
Osbourne previously announced his touring retirement amid his continuous health battles, revealing in February that while his singing voice remained fine, his body was physically weak after undergoing three operations, physical therapy sessions, and stem cell treatments. He also received Cybernics (HAL) Treatment to help him in his recovery.
Prior to his recent health issue, he told Billy Morrison in one of this year's episodes of SiriusXM's Ozzy Speaks that he "would tour if he could." He then dismissed the claims about a magazine's report about him being on his last legs and clarified that he was not dying.
Instead, he would need additional months to complete his recovery period and be able to tour again.
