Though they are no longer together, it is clear that Mariah Carey still holds a special place in the heart of her ex-husband, Nick Cannon.
Reportedly, he wants to rekindle their romance with the Grammy award-winning singer.
It's widely known that a reunion between Mariah and her former beau is something that is still desired by him.
But according to sources close to the singer who spoke to Radar Online, however, Mariah has no interest in getting back together due to his current lifestyle.
And it appears that Nick's plan to win Mariah back has backfired.
Reports indicate that her relationship with Bryan Tanaka is secure, and despite two of his children being hers, the source stated: "Who would want to be with a man who has all those kids with all those women? Not happening".
Since splitting up in 2014 and filing for divorce two years later, former spouses Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey have been raising their twins as co-parents.
Their union was solidified in a low-key wedding held in the Bahamas back in 2008, with the arrival of two children shortly afterward.
The "Emancipation of Mimi" hitmaker opened up to Complex for an August/September 2016 cover story about her divorce from the controversial host, with whom she shares twins Moroccan and Monroe.
Reflecting on the split, Mariah remarked, "It certainly wasn't something that was ever a part of my plan, to have babies with someone and then get divorced. But life is unpredictable and it was meant to be. Though it's not the path anyone wanted for them, it did happen."
Once things had ended between Nick and Mariah, the "Wild 'N Out" star's family quickly grew. During this time he managed to have twelve kids with six different ladies, Mariah's twins being two of them.
Nick had previously opened up about their post-split relationship and his views on Mariah large family.
Speaking to Hollywood Unlocked's Jason Lee, he said, "She's like, 'As long as you don't bring none of that nonsense to my Manor.' She lives in her world and nothing can penetrate it. When we chat, she just checks up on me."
In April, it was revealed that Mariah Carey altered her intention of filing for court custody of her twins with ex-husband Nick Cannon.
According to another report by Radar Online, the superstar eventually recognized "the reality of the situation" which was her kids were already predominantly in her care.
Still, it's best to take the outlet's reports with a grain of salt.
