An highly offensive statement concerning Madonna's recent health difficulties was just made by a member of the music industry.

The pop singer, 64, is making a full recovery after her manager Guy Oseary revealed she had a "serious bacterial infection" on June 24 that necessitated "a several day stay in the ICU."

The health concern led Madonna to postpone a world tour that was set to launch in July.

According to an unknown source quoted in In Touch Weekly however, the tour's cancellation was actually caused by weak ticket sales.

According to the source her so-called bacterial infection is a ruse, and the real reason she postponed the tour was because of poor tour sales. The fact that she was already suffering from the infection before she was eventually found "unresponsive" and brought to the hospital is said to be a telltale sign of how ridiculous the whole thing was.

The insider's accusation is obviously unfair because the singer had just left the hospital and is still being charged with fabricating what was undoubtedly a horrific sickness.

However, the charge might not be true; because ticket sales are NOWHERE low.

According to a January Billboard story, fans flocked to buy 600,000 tickets in a matter of hours, and 35 of Madonna's 51 performances sold out the day the tour was announced. After the first three New York performances sold out in just 15 minutes, Madonna's team added a fourth that same day. After the initial two concerts sold out in less than 20 minutes, two extra London shows were added.

According to reports, her Amsterdam performance sold out in ten minutes while her Paris performance did so in less than seven. This week, according to some reports, Madonna's health problems were actually caused by the demanding tour rehearsals. According to the source, the singer "clearly burned herself out" and her friends and family have been respectfully reminding her that she is no longer 25 or even 45 years old. The source also said the singer was under pressure to keep up with younger musicians like Pink and Taylor Swift.

Regarding her itinerary, the source stated, "She needed to pace herself."

"It was very risky for her to push herself so hard," people close to the star said.

Despite the numerous allegations, it seems like Madonna is improving every day and even has plans to postpone her tour. She posted a message on social media on July 10 to express her gratitude for her followers.
