J-Hope, a member of BTS, announced on Monday that his solo debut album "Jack In The Box," which was initially published in July 2022, will be re-issued as physical CDs. The singer is certainly making sure his fans will not miss him while he's serving the Army.
"Jack In The Box" was first made available as a "Weverse album," in which customers received photocards and a physical copy of a QR code they could use to download the song.
On August 18, "Jack In The Box (HOPE Edition)" will be released and offered for purchase on Weverse. Three live performance tracks and two instrumental tracks that were absent from the digital release from the previous year will be included in the new edition.
The live performance tracks were taken from J-Hope's headlining set at Lollapalooza, an American music festival, the previous year. The musician joined the Korean Army in April, and is currently serving in it. J-hope surprised his followers on Weverse on July 8th.
The 36th Homeland Defense Infantry Division of the ROK army is stationed in Wonju, Gangwon Province, where he has been working as an assistant instructor for new recruits.

The members of BTS offered J-Hope an emotional send-off in a video published to the K-pop group's BANGTANTV before he left for South Korea's military boot camp on Tuesday (April 18) to fulfill the nation's statutory 18-month service requirement. At the drop-off spot, Suga, RM, Jung Kook, Jimin, and V all showed up to cheer the rapper on and send him off. The Bangtan Boys attempted to lighten the atmosphere despite the members' somber feelings about serving in the military by making repeated comments about J-Hope's freshly chopped hair.
Throughout the video, several of the group members said, "It really suits you," with V jokingly advising the rapper to "think of me when you wash your hair." The compliments couldn't help but make J-Hope happy, and he constantly ran his hands and fingers through his cropped hair.
He laughed, "The rain just bounces off." Jimin showed in and addressed the camera, saying, "Our J-Hope... they're leaving one by one," before giving the rapper a tight hug. You've made great progress. What do you think? Did you get any rest?
J-Hope retorted that he only had three hours, drank some coffee, and then left. A handful of his own gags were added by Jung Kook. "I wasn't upset when Jin departed, but I'm heartbroken about J-Hope departing. I'm joking, he exclaimed.
V, in the meantime, took care to contain any emotions by asking the group, "If someone cries here, won't it be too different than it was with Jin?"
