Ryan Cabrera Bio
Ryan Frank Cabrera was born on July 18, 1982 in Dallas, Texas. Ryan was known to had been initially a guitarist and a songwriter during his younger years, prior to professionally breaking in through the music business. Word has it that Cabrera never planned to pursue a professional career in music. However, pursuing music as a hobby turned into pursuing it as a passion for Ryan when he saw Dave Matthews performed in which it motivated the aspiring musician to initially pursue a career as a guitarist at that time, as per All Music.
How Ryan Cabrera Started His Career in Music
A birthday present from Ryan's brother was a studio time access, which enabled Cabrera to work on new songs sometime during the late 1990's to early 2000's. Ryan was able to do three original songs, which the engineer liked enough to offer Ryan to do a full-length album, for free. Cabrera, thus, self-released an album called "Elm Street" thereafter, which in turn, sold out locally.

Finally, in 2001, Cabrera signed on to Atlantic records, and released his debut album in 2004 called "Take It All Away." "Take It All Away" saw Cabrera collaborating with the music industry's famed professionals, which included, Sabelle Breer and Curt Frasca (Avril Lavigne), Guy Chambers (Robbie Williams), and co-producer, Johnny Rzeznik from the band, the Goo Goo Dolls. Follow-up albums were released at the time, moving forward, namely, 2005's "You Stand Watching" and 2008's "Moon Under Water."
