Ariana Grande is truly over her husband of two years, Dalton Gomez.

After Grande's public appearance at Wimbledon without wearing her engagement and wedding rings, she shocked her followers when she also took down most of her Instagram photos - including her wedding photos. According to a social media expert, the move was a clear sign that the now-former couple is over.

Ariana Grande Offers "Awkward" Statement About Split From Dalton Gomez

Although Grande deleted her wedding photos which proved that her relationship with Gomez already ended, it reportedly served as a hint that they might still be on solid terms.

FizzBox social media expert Tom Bourlet exclusively sat for an interview with The Mirror and explained how celebrity breakups usually work, including Grande's. He said that the "Thank U, Next" singer's removal of images is not a sign of an album launch or political stance; rather, it hinted at the end of her marriage with the real estate agent.

"Most couples have to go through the awkward moment of changing their couples image to one of themselves on social, as well as changing their relationship status," the social media expert said. "...but it is significantly more noticeable if we had close to the 377 million followers Ariana Grande has on Instagram."

According to Bourlet, the move also made the breakup more obvious, especially since they have not reacted to the post yet.

Although Grande and Gomez are yet to address their split rumors directly, the expert highlighted the clear indication of their breakup through what happened at Wimbledon and the singer's Instagram page.

Despite that, he assumed that both of them remained on solid terms - resonating with what the sources said about the now-ex-couple's breakup.

Grande and Dalton started dating in January 2020 and officially tied the knot over a year later in a private ceremony at her home.

Fans Thought Ariana Grande Was "Brewing Something"

Prior to the breakup rumors, fans assumed that Grande's move to remove her photos was a sign that something new was coming. They suggested that the singer might be finally releasing a new album after years of waiting for it.

For what it's worth, she has not released new material since the arrival of her 2020 album, "Positions." Instead of dropping new music, she became busy with her married life and the launch of her makeup line.
