Siblings Britney Spears and Jamie Lynn Spears have been the talk of the town for years as many believe that the two sisters are feuding amid their individual careers, especially when the pop star was placed under a years-long conservatorship.

More recently, the "Zoey 101" star is speaking out in an emotional interview as she revealed that her daughter is very affected by her issue.

The actress/book author recently spoke with Variety where she opened up about her family, saying she has nothing but "absolute love" for each of its member.

Regarding her relationship with Britney, Jamie Lynn said, "If I learned anything from last year, being so open and feeling like I had to defend myself at times, I don't feel like there's anything else that I need to say." (via Page Six)

She added that she would leave the conversation there because they're meant to be personal and all she wanted to do is to focus on her daughters, husband, and her career.

Later in the conversation, Jamie Lynn started crying and admitted that the issue makes her sad and emotional.

Elsewhere in the interview, the actress said she doesn't want her daughter to "feel that way" that's why she wouldn't allow her children, especially her eldest child who's been "very affected" of all of it, to feel this way in their lives.

She added that her strength is coming from a place of love for her children and she doesn't want to give way to anything aside from what she knows to be authentic and true.

"It was hard, but at the end of the day, look where I am now," she added.

The feud between the two started following the end of the pop star's conservatorship.

Jamie Lynn published a book titled "Things I Should Have Said" where she opened up about her sister's testimony in June 2021 where she noted that her conservatorship was "abusive."

In the book, the 32-year-old actress said she continued protecting her sister until "just recently" when she decided that Britney didn't need protecting and threw her into the "proverbial media wolves."

As of this writing, Britney has yet to address the issue on her social media accounts.
