Barack Obama Summer Playlist Revealed: SZA 'Snooze' Music Video Coming Soon?

Annually, Former President Barack Obama releases his very updated and diverse Summer Music Playlist, which features artists that are pretty much as old as him and as young as his daughters.

Barack Obama's Summer Music Playlist seemed to have thrilled some of the artists included, especially SZA, who seemed to have confirmed the arrival of her upcoming new music video.

In the past when he was still the President of the United States, Barack Obama has given importance to the culture and the arts by posting his recommendations for music, films, books, and even his favorite binge-worthy television series.

Even though he has already left the Oval Office, Obama has still continued this annual tradition. Among these is releasing his annual Summer Playlist. Barack Obama's 2023 picks featured a plethora of singers and rappers whose songs have been heard on the radio and streamed more than a thousand times on streaming services.

"Like I do every year, here are some songs I've been listening to this summer - a mix of old and new. Look forward to hearing what I've missed," he tweeted.

Included in the list are songs from Nicki Minaj, Drake, Ice Spice, SZA, Stevie Wonder, Boygenius, Janelle Monae, Peso Pluma, Rosalia, Rauw Alejandro, Ashley McBryde, Luke Combs, 2Pac, Dr. Dre, Nas, Pearl Jam, Janet Jackson, Otis Redding, The Rolling Stones, Ike and Tina Turner, Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin, and even Bob Dylan, among many others.

Fans were especially thrilled with the variety and diversity of artists included in the former president's playlist - another manifestation of how trendy and updated he is with pop culture and music in general.

SZA 'Snooze' Music Video Release Date

In an Instagram Story that she posted clipping Barack Obama's Summer Playlist, SZA teased the release of the "Snooze" music video.

"My forever president said hurry up w the video and I heard him," she wrote.

Meanwhile, the "Snooze" music video release date wasn't announced, but given Obama's playlist reveal, the highly-awaited music video might be hitting YouTube soon!

The track only reached No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts but dominated Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay and Billboard Rhythmic Chart at No. 1.
