After being admitted to the hospital early this year, actor Jamie Foxx announced that he is on his way home and will soon be back at work. His daughter Corrine Foxx stated that he suffered a "medical complication" in April, but the family withheld further information regarding his condition.

Foxx praised his family for keeping information about his health "airtight" in an Instagram post on Saturday. The comedian assured followers that he was not blind or paralyzed but acknowledged that the silence had led to rumors.

For the first time since leaving the hospital, Foxx expressed his gratitude for the letters of encouragement he had received. He said, "I cannot even begin to tell you how far it brought me and how far it took me.

Although many people wanted to know more, he noted that he didn't want fans to see him "with tubes running out of me and trying to figure out if I was going to make it through." "I want you to see me laughing, having a good time, partying, cracking a joke, doing a movie [or] television show," Foxx added.

The 55-year-old added that "they, God, and a lot of great medical people" were the only reasons he was able to make the video for his fans. "My sister Deidra Dixon and my daughter Corrine really saved my life," he claimed. Foxx stated that maintaining his privacy was crucial to him during his sickness.

"You all know they kept it airtight, they didn't let anything out. I cannot tell you how great it feels to have your family kick in in such a way. "They protected me, and that's what I hope that everyone could have in moments like these," he said. In May, his daughter reported that Foxx had been out of the hospital for "weeks" and was doing well.

According to reports, the actor was hospitalized in Atlanta, Georgia, where he and Cameron Diaz were filming Back In Action for Netflix. Foxx said in a video message to his supporters that he had "been to hell and back" and that his "road to recovery had some potholes as well."

However, he continued, "I'm returning and I'm able to work." Supportive letters have been flooding in for Foxx. Idris Elba responded to Foxx's post by saying, "Thankful to see you bro, truly." Viola Davis remarked, "God is good," and Tracee Ellis Ross and John Boyega both expressed their admiration for the celebrity. Foxx, who plays Tyrone in the recently released They Cloned Tyrone movie on Netflix, also expressed his gratitude to "the people who are letting me work" in the statement.

He will co-host We Are Family, a new game show with a music theme, in 2024 with his daughter, a 29-year-old actor, model, and activist. The two claimed to be "thrilled" to have contributed to the show.

Though mostly known as an actor now, he is also a singer.

Since he was a young child, Foxx has been a passionate vocalist, and he established his reputation in the business by producing some of the most well-known songs of the 2000s, such as Kanye West's "Gold Digger" and T-Pain's "Blame It."

His singing career was taken to a whole 'nother level by these two singles, both of which were fairly successful at the time. In conclusion, here is a history of Jamie Foxx's singing career and what the multi-talented entertainer has planned moving forward.
