Matty Healy and The 1975 became a controversial topic on social media over the past few days after the country of Malaysia banned them from performing and entering their country again after the frontman and member Ross MacDonald shared a kiss on stage despite the anti-LGBTQIA laws.
More recently, it appears that the singer isn't bothered by the government's move as he continued to share random things pertaining to his acts in the country.
According to Page Six, the "About You" hitmaker took to social media to joke about his friendship with MacDonald.
"Ok well why don't you try and not make out with Ross for 20 years. Not as easy at it looks," he posted via Instagram Stories over the weekend.

Matty Healy, The 1975's Views on LGBTQIA+
An insider told the outlet that Matty Healy has been an advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community ever since.
One of the probable reasons why the pair decided to kiss on stage during their performance was they wanted to stand up for their fans who are part of the community.
The latest news comes after The 1975 performed at the Good Vibes Festival. During their set, the singer said he made a mistake when the group was booking shows and they didn't see the point of inviting the band to a country that has anti-LGBTQIA+ laws.
"I'm sorry if that offends you and you're religious ... but your government are a bunch of f****** r***. I don't care anymore," he told the crowd.
The event was scheduled to run for the rest of the weekend, but it was canceled due to the singer's acts on stage. The festival announced that the concert was halted due to a directive from the Ministry of Communications and Digital of the country.
