Doja Cat Lashed Out on Fans

For context, Doja Cat took to Threads over the weekend to call out her fans.

"My fans don't get to name themselves s-t," she said. "If you call yourself a 'Kitten' or f-king 'Kittenz' that means you need to get off your phone and get a job and help your parents with the house."

Doja even pointed out that some fans go to lengths of even using her complete government name as their screen name on social media. She even instructed some of the accounts using her name or referencing her name to deactivate. (via Page Six)

"Just delete the entire account and rethink everything it's never too late," Doja responded to a fan who asked her suggestion on what the account should be renamed to.

Meanwhile, some people on social media were horrified by her antics.

Doja Cat Fans Scratch Back After Fiery Rant

One fan in particular shared how distressing the whole ordeal was for the fans.

"Doja Cat slandering her fans is crazy tbh cos [sic] I don't understand why you would attack your fans for just giving themselves a name just like every other fanbase out there," a user wrote.

"Some of us have been here since 2018, and perhaps even earlier, to watch you develop as a performer and artist and become the celebrity you are now. We've stood by you during every incident you've faced, including the one involving Lory Hill, Noah Schnapp, the Heard v Depp trial tiktok, the Paraguay crisis, and the dispute over #that song," another reminded.

"Doja being mean to her fans for bc [sic] of the word kitten like her name isn't doja CAT and she wasn't dressed as a cat and meowed her way through an entire interview a few months ago oh she has lost her mind," another quoted. "Mind you, she's being a bitch to the people that practically pay her bills," one echoed.

As of this writing, it is not known yet what specifically prompted Doja Cat's outburst, but it might impact the outcome of her upcoming world tour.
