Fans, critics, and the public in general have been waiting for Britney Spears to release her memoir as it would reportedly tackle some of the most vulnerable moments in her life including how she lived following her years-long conservatorship and her marriage with Sam Asghari; when is it coming out?
According to Entertainment Tonight, the musician's book titled "The Woman In Me" is set to be released on October 24, 2023.
It appears that fans are not the only ones excited for the release as the pop star herself is looking forward for the world to know all the revelations she wrote in the book.
A source told the outlet that the musician is "looking forward to finally voicing her story in such a big way."
Regarding her genuine feeling about the release, the insider added that the "Gimme More" hitmaker is "not feeling nervous at all and she's actually very eager to get it out there."
Britney Spears Did Not Record the Audio Version of the Book
In early reports, an insider told a news outlet that the musician was undecided on whether she'll record the audio version of the book or not.
It was unclear why she hesitates to use her voice for the memoir, but she didn't have much time left as the book is already a best-seller based on pre-orders.
More recently, the outlet reported that Spears didn't record the audio version itself and it's still unclear who was the one who did it.
Britney Spears Went to Therapy in Order to Share Personal Details on New Book
Earlier this month, the "Til The World Ends" hitmaker took to her official Instagram account to share details about her book, saying she worked very hard for the project and had "a lot of therapy" in order for the memoir to be finished.
She added that her fans should "better like it" and if they don't, it's fine with her too.
Earlier this year, sources revealed that the book would be "brutally honest" and every word written in the memoir came from her heart. (via Harper's Bazaar)
In addition, the book will also revolve around an empowering story and Spears taking control her life after being in a conservatorship.
She also reportedly got help from ghostwriter Sam Lansky who previously worked with some of the biggest artists in the industry.
The 288-page book is now available for pre-order through Amazon. You may purchase your copies here.
