A die-hard Taylor Swift fan was livid after enduring a lengthy drive from Vancouver to Seattle that ended with the realization, they would have to fork out $120 to find parking near the venue hosting the "Eras" Tour show.
The frustration among fans was palpable last year as thousands of dollars were shelled out for tickets after the Ticketmaster presale debacle left many Swifties without access, according to the Daily Mail. This year, though not as jarring, paying $120 for parking still stings.
SeatGeek reported that resale tickets for an "Eras" Tour averaged $1,605, whereas original sale prices ranged as low as $70 with fees.
Saturday, July 22, saw Taylor Swift put on an unforgettable performance at Lumen Field, smashing the record for attendance with a reported 72,171 fans.
This memorable night was marred unfortunately by the news of a $120 extra charge being added to already inflated ticket prices.
Social media quickly lit up in outrage over this price gouging while others suggested concertgoers were naive to not have expected such an additional fee.
604 Now radio station based in the city of Vancouver posted a photo to their Facebook page showing the outrageous $120 sign that the Stadium Place parking lot had placed outside.

Shock and disappointment resonated amongst those who saw it, with one individual writing, "What a ripoff!"
One social media user took time to point out the expensive prices that have been in place for some time during their recollection of going to a Toronto Blue Jays game in 1995.
Parking cost more than the tickets! In contrast, another person noted that they could park at a lot within 10 minutes of walking distance from Lumen Field for just $10.
Even closer was Stadium Place, only 3 minutes away.
When news of the parking lot rate hikes in Glendale circulated, 150,000 superfans flocked to the city on March 17 for Taylor Swift's kick-off of her "Eras" tour North American leg.
This caused some disgruntled fans, but most understood that she had no authority over the increased prices. After all, such changes are commonplace for big concerts like hers.
