Cardi B was photographed tossing a microphone at an audience member who threw a drink at her, just hours after she threw a microphone at a DJ in Las Vegas.
In a video posted to the Pop Base Twitter account on Saturday, the 30-year-old hitmaker was seen tossing the microphone from the stage after being doused by a fan's hurled drink.
It wasn't the first time this weekend that the rapper, who just released the song "Jealousy" with her spouse Offset, used her microphone for something other than singing.
The previous evening, while performing at Drai's Beach Club, Cardi became agitated because the DJ was allegedly cutting off her songs prematurely.
In a video uploaded to social media by user kfen777, the performer can be heard shouting her name before turning around and throwing the microphone at the DJ as if she were launching a football, and then exiting the stage.
Cardi, born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, appears in the first footage wearing a bustier orange dress while performing onstage during the day. She is in the midst of singing her 2018 hit Bodak Yellow and raises the microphone to her face for another verse when a liquid spray from a drink cup in the audience hits her in the face. Cardi appears stunned for a moment before springing into action and tossing the microphone at an audience member, presumably the drink-thrower.
In the meantime, the song's accompaniment and her vocals continue to play in the background. Cardi is then seen adjusting her hair as security appears to address the throng situation.
Reportedly, fans in Las Vegas waited two hours in 112 degree heat for the performer to perform. As she complained about the excessive heat in Sin City, the hip-hop star reportedly requested that admirers throw water on her.
Prior to the microphone incident, she was observed performing her popular song "I Like It" in a neon yellow minidress while barefoot the night before. Cardi concluded her set with a pyrotechnic celebration, threw the microphone, and then exited the stage.
In the comments, confused users inquired, "What happened? There is no context..."
Later that day, Cardi B posted an Instagram photo of her attire change while attending another concert with Offset and several of her girlfriends. The celebrity donned a plunging red dress with halter straps to accentuate her ample endowments, as well as a pair of oversized red wraparound sunglasses.
Despite being seated in the video, she glowed and panned the camera downward to display her hourglass figure and entire outfit. Later, she recorded a video with Offset, who was wearing a leather vest and baseball cap, and displayed his diamond-encrusted dental jewelry.
The throwing incidents occurred after Cardi B dispelled rumors that she and her spouse Offset fabricated a cheating scandal to promote their Friday-released collaborative single, Jealousy. Following rumors that the 31-year-old Migos rapper publicly accused his spouse of infidelity to generate publicity for their new song, the mother-of-two clarified their online dispute.
