In the past couple of months and weeks, singers have been at the receiving end of possible injuries as rowdy fans try to throw objects at them while performing.
Very recently, Cardi B is the latest victim of this unfortunate series of events.
Cardi B Threw A Microphone On A Fan After Getting Splashed With Water
While performing at Drai's Beachclub in Las Vegas on Saturday, Jul. 29, 2023, Cardi B became the latest victim of fan-throwing incidents in the music industry.
In her case per se, nothing was thrown at her. Instead, she was splashed by a drink on stage.
As a lady splashed her mid-performance, the Bronx rapper thought quickly and threw her microphone at her in retaliation, a quick reflex, some might claim.
However, conflicting perspectives said that Cardi B seemed to have thrown the microphone to another person as the lady who splashed her with the drink evaded her fury.
Right after she threw it, she seemed to be cussing the lady right after who was seen apprehended by her security.

Cardi B Hit The Wrong Person With a Microphone?
However, in another fan-captured angle, the lady who held the cup seemed to have thrown the drink by accident. She was seen apologizing verbally to Cardi B after the incident.
Aside from the fact that she was still standing after Cardi B threw the microphone, she seemed to have evaded the rapper's aim as the microphone flung to another person out of the frame.
Some netizens claimed that this might spark a huge lawsuit should it be proven that Cardi B lost her aim and threw the microphone at another person.
In a close-up slow-motion version of the clip, it could be fairly seen that the woman in white, standing beside the woman who held the cup, landed Cardi B's microphone.
"Cardi B is about to get sued, she hit the wrong person with the Microphone.. I hope they lock her up for assault" a user tweeted. "Literally hit the one girl who had nothing to do with it.. that lawsuit about to be immaculate."
Meanwhile, some fans defended Cardi B on the incident, saying that she was acting in self-defense as the water might be acid in some cases.
As of this writing, Cardi B has not yet addressed the issue but she retweeted a video of the altercation on Twitter/X.
