Mötley Crüe is set to perform in a series of concerts this August and many fans have been wondering if they're going to take a break or retire anytime soon as they have been in the music industry for decades now.

More recently, Nikki Sixx finally shared his thoughts about retirement and revealed if the band will stop performing in the near future.

The band along with their collaborator Def Leppard spoke in a recent interview with "60 Minutes Australia," it appears that both groups are not slowing down as Joe Elliott said he's not even legally at retirement age.

The frontman added that retirement has never crossed his mind because he loves what he's doing.

"We always have. Long may it last," he added.

On the other hand, Sixx agreed and noted, "We've had each other's backs through everything... 3 of us have been to jail." (via Web is Jericho)

Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard Relationship

Elsewhere in the interview, Tara Brown asked both bands if are they "not good with each other" given their controversies over the past few decades.

Vince Neil answered that he couldn't imagine being in another band without his bandmates and he felt like it's "magical" whenever Motley Crue hits the stage and start playing their songs in front of many fans.

Elliott chimed in and noted that their co-headlining group are "actually really nice guys" even though they seem to be perceived as "mad" by the public.

"I think we're kind of in the 'we-don't-give-a-f*ck' phase of our career," Sixx added.
