On Tuesday, August 1, Britney Spears' two sons are scheduled to relocate to Hawaii with their dad, Kevin Federline.
Yet the famed singer won't have an official farewell.
According to TMZ sources, Sean Preston, 17, and Jayden James, 16, will not be seeing their mother before they leave.
Kevin, 45, and his wife Victoria Prince are paving their way to a new life as they depart California with their teenagers.
To get settled in before finding a permanent residence, they have decided to rent an abode on an island.
In response to his attorney's ultimatum, Mathew Rosengart, Britney's lawyer, was permitted by her legal team for Kevin to move with their children to Hawaii in May.
Mark Vincent Kaplan, who is acting on behalf of Kevin, had warned that he would take it up in court unless Britney replied in time about relocating their kids.
With the deadline looming, Kevin was faced with a difficult decision.
His wife Victoria had been offered a job at a Hawaiian university but she was unable to take it until the custody dispute between her and Britney had been settled.
Reportedly, Britney hadn't seen her children in over twelve months since legal proceedings began.
A legal document signed off by Britney's attorney formally granted freedom of movement for her two sons, Sean and Jayden.
Sean will have attained the age of majority this September and Jayden is approaching adulthood.

In addition, it was reported that Britney Spears had given her consent to the relocation and wouldn't interfere with it.
However, in response to this statement, Britney's lawyer criticized Kevin's lawyer for communicating details of their dispute to entertainment outlets as well as making a threat of taking legal action against his client.
In response to the news that her sons had moved away, Britney took to social media to express some love for one of them.
On Instagram she shared a throwback image of Sean, adding in her caption that he was her "first love".
Just prior, Britney had posted a picture of herself and Jayden when he was still a child.
This prompted the singer to reflect on her bond with her sons after allowing their father to take them away for a trip to Hawaii.
