Billie Eilish is set to perform at this year's Lollapalooza Festival as one of the headliners and she recently announced her plans for her concert in order to make the world a better and cleaner place; what would she do?

According to NME, the musician's upcoming show will be partially powered by solar panels through intelligent and zero-emission battery systems.

This would be a part of a performance that is friendly to the environment. It would be done in collaboration with Music Decarbonization Project which was co-founded by the musician herself.

In addition, the project will also team up with REVERB, a non-profit organization that aims for a better planet.

In a press release, it was noted that zero-emissions battery systems will be managed by Overdrive Energy Solutions and will be charged through a temporary "solar farm" around the area.

The reason why using batteries for the show is important is because it would have clean energy the can reduce the live performance's greenhouse gas pollution and prevents the usage of fossil fuels.

"We hope and believe this will be a watershed moment for the music industry. There are real climate solutions available right here, right now," Adam Gardner, the co-founder/co-executive director of REVERB, said in a statement.

He added that by sharing this type of technology with the world through the biggest artist in the music industry as of today, they are "accelerating the necessary transition toward a decarbonized future, for music and beyond."
