Drake, 21 Savage ‘It’s All a Blur’ Tour in Memphis CANCELED: What Happened?

Sad news for Drake and 21 Savage fans in Memphis. The two rappers have officially canceled their rescheduled show in the city; find out what happened to the show below.

According to Complex, the pair was initially scheduled to play their biggest hits at the FedEx Forum on June 29, 2023. Back in April, it was announced that their Memphis show was one of the new tour dates after the rapper and his team made changes to their route.

The date was later pushed to August 6, but as of today, the show had been canceled.

As seen on the Ticketmaster's page for the show, a statement reads, "unfortunately, the event organizer has had to cancel your event."

The ticket-selling platform then told fans that they don't have to do anything to get refunds as it would be automatically processed "to the original method of payment used at time of purchase."

The refund perioud would be around 30 days.

Commercial Appeal reported that Drake's spokespeople confirmed that a show at the said venue would not be possible as they intended it to be.

"Due to the magnitude of the production of the Drake concert, it is logistically impossible to bring the show as designed to the FedExForum on August 6th," a statement reads.

Per the outlet, Drake was also set to accept a ceremonial key to Shelby County before his show, but the ceremony never took place.

As of this writing, there are still no updates if the rapper would perform at a different venue in the city.

There have been several unforgettable moments that happened during the rappers' shows over the past few weeks.

One of the viral moments that circulated online was when a fan named Veronica Correira who threw her bra at the rapper which prompted him to look for the woman.

"Damn, 36G? Locate this woman immediately," the rapper said upon finding out the size of the bra.

In other moments, fans have been throwing random objects on stage, but the rapper clarified that he only wanted "some fancy" things.
