Offset Admits to Lying About Cardi B's Cheating Rumors Amid Wife's Imminent Battery Charge

Cardi B and Offset have been involved in a controversy last month after the rapper accused his wife of cheating on him. More recently, the musician made a shocking revelation, confirming that everything was a lie and he was the one who made it up; what was his reason?

The Migos member recently spoke with the "Way Up with Angela Yee" podcast where he addressed the Instagram story he shared with his 22 million followers.

According to People Magazine, at the time, the rapper accused his wife of cheating, writing, "My wife f***** a N**** a on me gang yall n***** know how I come."

He later deleted the post, but eagle-eyed fans were able to take a screenshot and it was later reposted to different platforms of social media.

Offset Admits to Lying About Wife Cardi B's Cheating Rumors

In the interview, the rapper clarified that Cardi B is his wife and he loves her to death.

Detailing what truly happened behind closed doors, Offset said they have been arguing and since his wife is from New York, she's "a pitbull at the mouth."

One of the main reasons why he posted the controversial Instagram story was because he was drunk after drinking a few shots of Casamigos tequila.

He later added that they are "crazy for each other."

Regarding why he deleted the post, the rapper said, "The delete is enough because at the end of the day them people don't be really knowing what's going on with us, for real."

Elsewhere in the conversation, Offset addressed the time when he cheated on his wife, saying he was "young" and had just gotten married. In addition, he was also getting a lot of money.

Another factor in his infidelity was his struggles with communicating his "wants and needs."

Cardi B Could Possibly Face a Battery Charge Due to Mic-Throwing Incident

Cardi B made headlines over the past few days after she threw a mic at a concertgoer for throwing a drink at her.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the Las Vegas Metro Police Department confirmed that the attendee who got hit by a microphone filed a police report for battery.

As of this writing, no arrests have been made and Cardi B has yet to address the matter.
