Things are looking up for former American Idol contestant Josh Gracin and he's back on the road touring.
A few weeks back Gracin left what appeared to be a suicide note on his Facebook page writing, "Please remember me as someone who gave his all in music" and "pray for my family as they carry on in this world without me."
Subsequently Gracin's manager confirmed that he had not harmed himself and tweeted, "Josh is safe and with his family now. I promise to update soon."
The country singer then sent out a message of his own.
"I want to thank you all for your prayers and support. I take responsibility for my actions and apologize dearly for what I have put my family through. With the help of my family and friends, I am getting help. Again, thank you for your love, and I will see you very soon."
With all of that behind him, Gracin is ready to take his music back on the road and he took to social media once again to make the announcement.
"Finally getting back out on the road," he posted via Facebook. "I will be playing this Saturday at the Mercury Ballroom in Louisville KY! Please get your tickets now! I would love to see you all there for my first show back:)"
He also posted two videos from his recent writing sessions, including a song called "Let Her Go."
Gracin placed no. 4 on the second season of American Idol, drawing attention for being the "singing Marine." He went on to release four albums, the first of which produced no. 1 country single "Nothin' To Lose."
