On Sunday, August 6, Riley Keough, 34, and her father Danny, 58, were seen spending time together in Los Angeles.
Months had passed since she had been appointed the sole trustee of the estate of her late mother Lisa Marie Presley. Both Riley and Danny appeared to be in good spirits.
The Daisy Jones And The Six actress wore a short pair of shorts, slides, and a charcoal t-shirt dress with a modest leg slit.
She was seen carrying a backpack as well as her phone, and her hair was pulled back into a ponytail. Danny was dressed in green shorts and a green t-shirt. As they walked out of the spa, it appeared that they were having a lengthy talk. Two days prior to Riley's spa day, Graceland's sole owner, Riley Presley, had been announced. Riley and her grandma Priscilla Presley engaged in a legal dispute over Lisa Marie's estate when the singer passed away. Graceland was declared to be owned by the actress on Friday.
Priscilla will still be entitled to be buried there with Elvis if she passes away, despite the fact that Riley was declared the owner through the legal proceedings. Following Lisa Marie's passing in January, a four-month legal struggle between the actress and her grandmother over management of the singer's trust ensued. In May, Riley was declared to be the only owner of her estate.
According to People, Priscilla declared in a document she filed following the settlement that she thought her late husband would approve of the choice.
Danny and Lisa Marie were wed from 1988 till 1994. The oldest of Lisa Marie's children is Riley. Benjamin, who she also had with Danny, passed away in July 2020 at the age of 27. With her ex-husband Michael Lockwood, she also shares twin children Harper and Finley, all 14 years old.
Recently, Riley Keough has finally spoken out about her nasty dispute with Priscilla Presley over her late mother Lisa Marie's multimillion-dollar estate, saying that if their protracted legal dispute is settled, "things will be happy again" between their two. The 34-year-old actress and model, who reportedly agreed to pay her grandmother $1 million as well as $400,000 in legal fees, was appointed earlier this month as the sole trustee of her late mother's estate, which includes ownership of Graceland.
In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Riley has opened up about the legal dispute with Priscilla. Riley told the magazine that after her mother passed away, her family was left in "chaos" and "in a panic" about how to deal with their loss and the future of the Presley "business."
