Trippie Redd had been under fire for allegations of cheating on his partner, Skye Morales. More recently, the rapper finally confirmed that he indeed became unfaithful to his girlfriend and he issued a public apology for her.
Taking to his official Instagram account, the hip-hop artist said he wanted to publicly apologize to his former lover and he told his fans to not be mad at her because he was the one who cheated.
He added that even though Morales didn't have the best attitude when they were still in a relationship, he admits that she was the most loyal partner he ever had and after the drama happened, he had lost her.
"I just want you guys to be better than me, so if you find someone that makes you feel special, think before you do when you're mad. I will never forgive myself for this s***, ever." he wrote.
Trippie Redd Says He 'Hates' Himself After Skye Morales Drama
Later on, he continued to apologize to his ex-partner, but he also noted that he doesn't even want her to forgive him.
However, he also wants her to know that he understands what she's feeling and he's an "idiot" for the things he did to her.
"I promise you, none of it was worth what I had. What's done in the dark always comes to light, and yeah, I hate myself," he continued.
As of this writing, Trippie Redd's post is not accessible on his account anymore and it's unclear if he'd taken it down or archived it.
Skye Morales seemingly addressed the post in a cryptic Instagram story wherein she shared a quote about not regretting the love a person gives to someone even though it wasn't reciprocated.
"Keep putting love out into the universe, cause it's coming back with interest," the quote reads.
