Fans have been worried about Katharine McPhee after she announced her immediate departure from her series of shows with her husband David Foster in Asia and had to fly back home in the United States as soon as possible.

According to a news outlet, the couple's 2-year-old son's nanny had reportedly passed away which prompted her to fly back to California immediately.
As of this writing, there are still no details about the nanny's cause of death, it's also unclear if their baby named Rennie was with them during their tour in Asia when the babysitter passed away.
Foster and McPhee have yet to reveal whether the circulating reports were accurate.

The latest news comes after Katharine McPhee took to her official Instagram account to deliver a sad news to their fans in Jakarta, Indonesia.
In a shocking post, the musician said she had to miss the final two shows of the "David Foster & Friends Asia Tour 2023," adding that she and David Foster "have had a horrible tragedy" in their family.
Since there is a major emergency, one of them had to fly back home to deal with the matter.
"Please know how sorry I am and how much I wish to return one day and perform for you all," she said, while concluding the post with her name.
According to Page Six, the final shows are not being canceled, but rather, David Foster will be taking the stage alone.

David Foster and Katharine McPhee are still set to appear in a series of shows across the United States later this year.
Their new shows will kick off at the Andiamo Celebrity Showroom in Warren, MI, on November 1 and 2, 2023.
They will also have their "An Intimate Evening with David Foster & Katharine McPhee" shows in Medford, Newark, Westbbury, Ft Lauderdale, Greensboro, and many more.
