It is an absolute dream of Swifties to see Taylor Swift perform live at a concert and some fans will do anything to get their hands on tickets as it's very hard to purchase and oftentimes expensive.
One fan named Anthony Ye defied all the odds and was able to watch several "The Eras Tour" shows across the United States and he admitted that he spent a whopping $9,000 for everything.
In an interview with the Fox News Digital, the man, who hails from Astoria, New York, said he goes to as many shows as he can make it out to and he had seen the pop star for over 43 times, which included her latest shows in Los Angeles, California, earlier this month.
Aside from the SoFi Stadium concert on August 8 and 9, he was also able to watch other "The Eras Tour" scheduled shows in cities like New York Cities, Philadelphia, Phoenix, and Boston. (via The New York Post)
Taylor Swift Fan Admits to Going Way Over Budget to Watch Taylor Swift Perform Live
Elsewhere in the interview, the fan said he's "definitely spending a bit more than" he should and it's okay for him as it has been five years since the last time Taylor Swift went on a tour.
"There's been a lot of new music, so it's a big deal," he added.
Fortunately for Ye, he's more financially stable today compared to the pop superstar's previous tours as he "couldn't afford it" before.
At the time, he said he used credit cards just to see the singer perform live, and fortunately, those are already paid off.
Taylor Swift Fan Shares Singer's Previous Tours
He noted that he first became a Swiftie after he listened to the singer's songs constantly, and since then, he became a massive fan.
Even though he was able to see the singer countless times in the past, he still watches live streams of her current tour on social media.
"I know all the songs," he said. "I can sing them all perfectly now ... [In] the past few months, she has definitely been a big part of my life," he said.
Regarding his previous experiences, one of the most unforgettable moments was when he met Taylor Swift's parents themselves during the singer's "Reputation Stadium Tour" in 2018.
Unfortunately, Ye has never met Taylor Swift personally and it's his dream to see her face-to-face.
He later shared a sweet message for the singer, saying he wanted her to know that he and all of her fans will stand by her and they'll be there "forever."
