Madonna Bio

Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone (professionally known as Madonna) was born on August 16, 1958 in Bay City, Michigan. Madonna was born into an Italian-American family, and studied dance both at the University of Michigan and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in New York City in the late 1970's. As per Britannica, Madonna lived in Paris shortly thereafter at this time for a brief moment as a disco revue member of Patrick Hernandez's dance group.

After Madonna had returned to New York from Paris she sang with a couple of rock groups prior to being signed on by Sire records. Kamins was the producer of Madonna's debut single, "Everybody" (1982), as per All Music. "Everybody" turned into a club and dance hit song at the end of 1982. The singer's sophomore single, "Physical Attraction" (1983) was another club hit.

Since the early 1980's to the present, Madonna has released a total of 36 albums. Among these notable albums were "Like a Prayer" (1989), "Ray of Light" (1998), "Music" (2000), and "Madame X" (2019). One of the highlights in Madonna's career during the early to mid-2000's was having had the chance to record a duet with pop princess, Britney Spears for the song, "Me Against the Music." (2003). The song has been included as one of the tracks in Spears' album, "In The Zone", also released in 2003.

Madonna Health Crisis and 'Celebration' Tour 2023

As per Yahoo! News, Madonna was hospitalized after having had contracted a bad bacterial infection after she became unresponsive in her home on June 24th. The singer has since then been discharged from the hospital, as a source shared to E! News on June 29 that "she's (Madonna's) home and feeling better," as per Eonline.com.

As per an article published on Nme.com, the legendary songstress announces her plan to reschedule the remaining shows of her 2023 "Celebration" tour in the "next few days."
