Elvis Presley's Last Words to Fiancée Revealed Decades After Tragic Death

Elvis Presley's last girlfriend and fiancée Ginger Alden revealed the King of Rock and Roll's final words before his death.

Alden was the first one Presley proposed to among the girlfriends he had after his marriage to Priscilla Presley. Although their relationship was cut by his sudden passing, she recently looked back at their time together and revealed his final words to her.

Elvis Presley's Final Words to Ginder Alden Revealed

On Facebook, Alden marked Presley's death with a heartfelt post and recalled the first time they met in 1976. She previously wrote the book, "Elvis and Ginger: Elvis Presley's Fiancée and Last Love Finally Tells Her Story," in which she recalled the King's final moments.

According to Alden, they began discussing wedding plans in the wee hours of August 16 and event set the date with her.

"He was in a good mood, we had just set a wedding date literally hours earlier and he told me a couple of weeks before he passed that he had been off too long," she said. "He was ready to go back on stage, something he loved with all of his being."


However, the excitement they had became heartbreak a few hours later after she found Presley unconscious on the floor of a Graceland bathroom. He was rushed to the Baptist Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a few hours later.

Elvis Presley's Health Deteriorated Prior to Death

Prior to his passing, Presley suffered different health and weight issues, including glaucoma, hypertension, liver damage, and an enlarged colon.

Theories surrounded his death, including how his gluttony led him to gain weight and eventually became a risk factor in his health.

James Gregory's 1960 biography "The Elvis Presley Story" revealed that the King was a heavy eater.

"Note for his future wife: Elvis loves enormous breakfasts complete with sausage, bacon, eggs, fried potatoes, home-baked rolls, and coffee," Gregory wrote. "He has a tremendous appetite at breakfast. His wife should never develop elegant or expensive tastes."

He once tried to go back to his old shape by following a strict diet it which he only consumed jelly and even risked his life by asking a doctor to put him into a medically induced coma for weight loss.
