Shania Twain is excited to return to Las Vegas for another residency, and she is coming prepared this time around to avoid a "nightmare" concert mishap.
"I am excited to be returning to Vegas for my third residency Come On Over performing in Vegas is a huge honor and I love this theatre," the country music star said of her residency that will take place at the Bakkt Theater in Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
"The audience can expect all the hits with a few fan favorites from the new album in there too. I am in a celebratory mood and there is nowhere better to party than Vegas so I hope you all join me!"
The "Come on Over" show will commence in May 2024, and will boast a career-spanning setlist, and most especially her most recently released album "Queen of Me."
Shania Twain Cannot be Stopped
The "Man I Feel Like a Woman" singer is also going to be heading back on the road for the "Queen of Me" tour, which will consist of 76 dates, across the United States and Europe.
So she definitely knows a thing or two about performing, but the singer is going to make sure that her Las Vegas residency is lawless by implementing a strange but strict diet.
"If I eat any solids hours before the show, I'll have to burp," the 57-year-old singer explained. "It's just a nightmare because you have to sing around the burp, and it's distracting in itself. So I usually don't eat any solids at all on show days until after the show, only liquids."
According to reports, the singer only has one meal a day, and sometimes snacks on penut butter or dark chocolate.
On top of that, Twain avoids eating dairy products because "dairy creates phlegm."
Shania Twain 'Come on Over' Show
While not a lot is known about Twain's upcoming Las Vegas residency, she has revealed that it will be some sort of fashion show for her.
"I'm going to be playing around with the fashion more in the Come on Over residency because... I've really discovered the joy of creating my styling myself," the singer laughed.
"I've always collaborated, but this is a whole other level. I'm going to be doing more of that at the Come on Over residency."
