Coldplay is being sued by their former manager Dave Holmes over contractual disputes.
According to reports, Holmes quietly parted ways with the band last year after being their manager for 22 years.
There is no specific information released yet about the lawsuit as legal documents regarding it are still unreleased as of this writing.
Coldplay is now being managed by a team that consists of the following people: Phil Harbey, Mandi Frost, and Arlene Moon. Holmes used to work alongside them for decades, reports say.
Coldplay's Massive Success
As of this writing, there is no statement or comment from Coldplay, so fans would have to wait and see if the legal battle between the band and their former manager will affect any future projects or their "Music of the Spheres" tour.
Coldplay comprises of frontman Chris Martin, guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman, and drummer Will Champion. They met during their college days at University College of London.
The band was formed in 1997 and is still going strong many, many years later. Many wonder: what is their secret to success?
The answer seems pretty straightforward, but it is simply Coldplay's music. Unlike other bands with a gimmick or distinct style that sets them apart, Coldplay is as regular and normal as they get.
The music is what really brings fans back time and time again. In fact, according to reports, they just re-signed with their labels Warner Music's Parlophone in the United Kingdom and Atlantic in the United States two years ago, before the release of "Music of the Spheres."
Coldplay 'Music of the Spheres' Tour 2023, 2024

The band revealed that they will be performing for the first time in several countries like Greece, Romania, and Finland. They will also be returning to several other countries like Rome and Budapest.
On top of their massively successful tour in Europe, Coldplay is also in-demand in Asia.
Their tour dates in the continent are mostly sold out, and ticket prices soared to thousands of dollars.
According to reports, the British band managed to sell out the massive Tokyo Dome in Japan for two nights, and Singapore's National Stadium for all six nights.
