Doja Cat recently confirmed the title of her next album, and it's going to be the name of her alter ego, "Scarlet."

The move came after repeated confusion in the past. The Grammy-winning rapper gave fans fake album names to troll them apparently.

Doja Cat New Album 'Scarlet' Explained

Speaking to Harper's Bazaar, Doja Cat explained what her fans could really expect from her upcoming album.

"This new album is more introspective, but I'm not leaning so hard into that to where it becomes boring," the rapper said. "So I want to give stories and bops. It's a nice mixture of both. I think this project is a really fun canvas for me to play with my rap skills and talk about what's going on in my life. But I'm not abandoning who I was and what I know about pop and singing and that aspect of music."

In the past, Doja Cat told the public that her upcoming album will be called "Hellmouth." Days after the media ran its title, she then told that it's actually not the real album title. Aside from this, she also trolled the media on what the sound would be. At one point she said it would be pure R&B, a pop rap album, a German rave album, and even a rock one.

Very recently, her latest song, "Paint The Town Red," debuted at No. 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.

Doja Cat Lashes Out On Fans

The release came weeks after Doja Cat was disowned by her very own fans after lashing out at them on a social media rant on Twitter/X.

Since then, fans have grown tired of her repeated trolling and behavior toward them. Doja Cat lashed out at her fans, who call themselves "Kittenz." (via Page Six)

"Just delete the entire account and rethink everything it's never too late," Doja responded to a fan who asked her suggestion on what the account should be renamed to.
