Young Capone Cause of Death: Atlanta Rapper Dead After Going Missing [REPORT]

Atlanta-based rapper Young Capone has died following reports that he went missing this week.

Young Capone's publicist, Aleesha Carter, shared the tragic news on Instagram on Tuesday, August 15, confirming that the rapper - who was also known as Dopeboy Ra and RaRa - passed away after he went missing and was last seen in Chicago.

Carter expressed her heartbreak as she posted the news of the rapper's death and recalled the time they "made magic" while working on their projects.

"Young Capone aka Dopeboy Ra aka Rara was one of my first Hip Hop/ Rap clients, and I can't believe the news I just got of his unexpected passing!" she captioned the post. "A friend...a client and just huge in East Atlanta. This is not the easiest post at all. Rest easy, RIP."

Young Capone's cause of death has yet to be confirmed.

In the comments section, fans and friends of the late rapper showered him with love and support as they dealt with a heartbreaking loss after his death.

One said, "Damn. We spoke bout community stuff every time I saw him."

"My friend is Trott. I remember this video and trotti ent movement like yesterday. Loved my dawg whole heartedly. This hurt me," another added.

Tip also sent his condolences to Capone's bereaved family, showing his deep sadness at the sudden loss. On the other hand, the Grand Hustle family also honored the rapper and said the members would miss his talent and presence in the industry.

Young Capone's Career

Capone, born Rodriguez Smith, started his career in the mid-2000s in Atlanta's underground hip-hop scene.

He established his empire by collaborating with other icons including Jermaine Dupri and Daz Dilinger. He soon landed a record deal with Dupri's So So Def Label, which allowed him to release his hit track, "Lights, Camera, Action," in 2006.

After dropping "Look Who's Back" and "Paper and Politics" in 2010 and 2011, he worked with T.I.'s Hustle Gang and appeared in the album "We Want Smoke" in 2017.

He went on to work on independent projects, including his December album, "SlumMade 2.0."

Among Young Capone's hit songs include "Dope Boy Fashion," "For the Money," "God. Family. Money," "Kiss My Ring," "Trap Phone," "I'm Hot," "Notice It," and "What It Is."
