Britney Spears and her ex-husband Kevin Federline, who is also the father of her two children, might have had a tumultous relationship over the past few years but the back up dancer is sending a positive message to the singer and her estranged husband, Sam Asghari, amid their divorce; check out what he has to say below.
According to the dancer/DJ's longtime attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, who spoke with NewsNation, Federline is hoping that things will work out for the estranged couple after the actor/fitness enthusiast filed for divorce from his wife of 14 months.
"The media is a heavy focus on this one... and [Kevin Federline] just hopes that everything works out for the best, whether that's being together or not being together," the attorney added. (via Page Six)
In addition, Kaplan noted that Federline wanted his ex-wife and Asghari to make good decisions and work out whatever's happening to them currently.

The only way to settle their problems at the moment are two possible options: "either go their separate ways or get back together."
The attorney later spoke with Page Six to reveal that his client wishes Spears well amid the divorce proceedings and he's sorry that things didn't work out for the couple, who got married in June 2022.

"Obviously, if Britney reached out to [Federline], he wouldn't avoid her call but I don't see any reason why they would be speaking because of her divorce to Sam," he added.
Kevin Federline is the father of Britney Spears' two children named Jayden James and Sean Preston. The two are now teenagers and are spending time with their father in Hawaii.

The recent reaction comes a day after it was revealed to the world that Britney Spears and her husband Sam Asghari are divorcing.
The latter was the one who filed a petition for divorce at the Superior Court of Los Angeles. He cited "irreconcilable differences" in the legal documetns.
In the petition, Asghari is asking for spousal support and he also wanted his estranged wife to pay for his attorneys' fees.
He later broke his silence on Instagram, confirming that he and his wife are separating after being together for six years.
The fitness trainer/actor then added that he's asking for privacy and he asks the public, especially the media, to be "kind and thoughtful."
As of this writing, Britney Spears has yet to react to the matter.
