With "famous kids" like Britney Spears, Ryan Gosling, Christina Aguilera, and Justin Timberlake, Keri Russell recalls her time as a Mouseketeer.
The 47-year-old actress made light of her stint on the "All New Mickey Mouse Club" in the early to mid-1990s by joking that "not everyone got out alive."
She told W Magazine that while she didn't take any Disney memorabilia with her when she left the show, she did so with her "sanity" and "dignity."
She was allegedly the "least talented" of the eventual superstars who were watching the show at the same time, according to Russell.

"I was there at a time when there were a lot of famous kids there," the "Diplomat" star explained. "And I say this completely truthfully: I was literally the least talented one there. I'm not kidding. When I look at those kids, I'm like, why in the world did they pick me? Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake and Ryan Gosling and Britney Spears. It was wild."
The most talented young actors in Hollywood performed songs, dances, and sketches for The Mickey Mouse Club. It had a significant effect on these young stars' careers and ran for several years in the mid-1990s. It's obvious that the Mickey Mouse film directors had a point. Christina was clearly the star of the show even at the age of 13. Pay special attention to the early hints of what we now recognize as her trademark sound. Russell's sentiments were quite the same with Gosling's.
On "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" years ago, Ryan Gosling and Britney Spears enjoyed a miniature Mickey Mouse Club reunion. While posing for a backstage shot with Christina Aguilera, the First Man actor reflected on his time touring with the "freakishly talented" Spears and Christina. He said he remembers when her first got to the [Mickey Mouse Club], they had all the kids perform for one another and when he got the chance to work with Aguilera and Spears, he could remember noting that they are "freakishly talented.'"
He said ahough he was accustomed to working with talented individuals, this was on another level.
