In the midst of her divorce from Sam Asghari, Britney Spears intends to create a new album. Will she sing about her divorce?

insiders told Page Six about this new album.

One person close to the Princess of Pop tells us exclusively that "she has an upcoming writers camp and is getting songs from some big artists."

Despite the fact that Spears is reportedly "focused" on the release of her eagerly awaited memoir, "The Woman in Me," on October 24, a second source claims that "ideally, she would love to do a record and maybe a song for the book release."

Does this mean the new album will be ready in a month's time?

Since "Glory" in 2016, the Grammy winner has not released an album. However, since a judge ended her 13-year conservatorship in November 2021, she has withdrawn from two songs: "Hold Me Closer" with Elton John and "Mind Your Business" with her longtime partner Will.i.am.

The notion that Spears, 41, has started talking about "recording again and has gotten plenty of offers, some of which she's turned down" - including a collaboration with Beyoncé - was first reported by Page Six in May.

One day after her husband's divorce petition was submitted, Extra was the first to disclose that the "Toxic" singer had begun building the foundation for a new album. The estranged couple's breakup was attributed to "irreconcilable differences," according to Asghari, 29, who demanded that Spears pay spousal support and his legal costs.

But does the world still want Britney Spears music? Or maybe they would rather she stops doing collaborations and release a whole new album featuring her and her alone?

This is because while the world appeared to be poised for Spears and the frontman of the Black Eyed Peas to record another big success, their song failed to catch on.

"Mind Your Business" failed to make it onto Billboard's Hot 100 list of the country's most popular singles. For both artists, who are accustomed to not only adding their newest tracks to the tally but occasionally topping it, this was a significant setback.

The song did make it to a few genre-specific Billboard charts, and it did reasonably well in its first period of sales. However, it was essentially eliminated from all significant rankings the next week.
